MOUNTAIN ALLIANCE:
There’s an understanding among students at Watauga High School who are united through the school’s leadership program—anything can happen when they work together. DOE RIDGE POTTERY & GALLERY:

DOOLEY’S GRILL & MOTHER EARTH FOODS:
Downtown Wilkesboro is home to a number of small businesses with rich, colorful histories. Here’s the story behind a pair of family-owned town gems: Dooley’s Grill & Tavern and Mother Earth Foods, a niche health food marketplace and eatery. NORDIC PC:
This computer shop is the first and only one of its kind in the Watauga County area. It creates and builds custom PCs to fit a variety of customer needs, while also providing system administration and consulting to local businesses of all sizes. The founders of Raleigh-based Just for KiiX, invented the solution to broken/worn down heels five years ago in the form of their flagship product—an invisible adhesive protector.
